SLUG: spacecraft-patch-0-3-22866-trade-tax-warehouse
SUMMARY: SpaceCraft’s July 21 patch slashes Trade Nexus tax, adds Warehouse Take All, and fixes drone and ship bugs.
SpaceCraft dropped Patch v0.3.22866 on July 21, 2026, and it’s a chunky one. The headline change? The Trade Nexus buying tax got slashed from 20% down to 8%. That’s a big deal if you’ve been bleeding credits on imports.
Quality of Life Upgrades
The devs added a bunch of sensible safety nets. You’ll now get confirmation prompts before Respawn, Abandon Base, or Account Reset — no more accidental self-destructions. Accepted Corporation Requests can be canceled now, which fixes a real pain point.
The Warehouse and Drone Dispatcher both got a Take All button. The Ship Editor now warns you when your design is bad, plus it shows maximum speed and acceleration time in the stats. Filter icons are finally visible in the Warehouse, and deposit icons show up when you deploy a Base Command Center.
Bug Fixes and Visuals
The bug list is long. Drones could stop working — fixed. Ships could get sent into orbit after respawning and become inaccessible — also fixed. The Recycling Plant had issues with multiple scrap types and manual shutdowns. The Mining Laser Control Mod would keep generating heat after overheating, and it wouldn’t switch to another node in range. Both fixed.
The Cosmic Navigator wasn’t picking the shortest route. Credits could vanish when transferring to a player at the cap. There were UI scaling problems at Steam Deck’s 1280×800 resolution, and the Galaxy Map could crash on open.
The crafting preview animation in the Workshop looks better now. Known issues include the Xenic Farm sometimes lacking visual effects — relogging works as a workaround.
