Funcom rolled out Patch 1.4.10.0 for Dune: Awakening on the Public Test Client on June 10, 2026. It’s a solid update, mixing new content with technical polish and a few gameplay tweaks.
New Missions and Performance Tuning
The headline addition? Five new Landsraad missions spread across Hagga Basin and Smuggler’s Run. You’ll want to hit the PTC to test them out before they go live.
On the technical side, Funcom optimized shadow memory usage at a distance and adjusted shadow display settings to boost performance without hurting visual quality. They also cleaned up Hagga Basin’s backend—under-the-hood stuff—for smoother overall performance.
Ornithopter Changes and Unstuck Fixes
There’s a notable change for anyone who likes riding on flying vehicles. The patch makes ornithopters push players off at high speeds. Why? Standing on a flying vehicle enabled unintended combat tactics, especially in PvP. You can still stand on them at lower speeds, though.
The cargo container got heavier too—no more getting easily shoved around by other vehicles.
“The UNSTUCK menu feature will now work differently inside Overland map dungeons by teleporting the player to the start location.”
Outside those dungeons, UNSTUCK still tries to find the nearest valid spot and teleports you there.
The PTC also includes a Progression Unlock Panel (exclusive to the test client) that lets you grab resources, gear, XP, faction ranks, and crafting materials for easier testing. You can find full patch notes and discussion on the Steam board or the dedicated Discord server.
