Mount Summon Gets a Speed Boost
The latest patch for RuneScape: Dragonwilds, version 0.11.1.5, went live on April 30, 2026. It addresses one specific, but significant, pain point: the mount summon delay.
Previously, you had to hold the input for 2 seconds to call your mount. That’s gone now. The new activation window is just 0.25 seconds – a drastic cut that makes mounting feel instant.
The input to summon Mounts has been reverted from 2 seconds to 0.25 seconds. Tap and mount away!
Quality of Life, Plain and Simple
This isn’t a new feature. It’s a reversion. The original faster summon time existed before, so this patch rolls back a change that slowed things down.
