The latest patch for RuneScape: Dragonwilds dropped on June 25, 2026, and it’s a tidy little cleanup. Version 0.12.0.4 tackles a handful of bugs that were messing with crafting, fishing, and enemy drops.
Fishing and Crafting Fixes
First up, fishing is back to normal. The patch resolved an issue where various fishing locations were simply unusable. That’s a big one if you’ve been staring at a dead spot on the water.
Crafting got some love too. You can now create Adamant Bolts without first crafting Adamant Arrows. That was a weird gatekeeping bug. Also, crafting a skillcape for a skill now correctly triggers the Achievement for reaching level 99 in that skill. So if you’ve been cheated out of that pop-up, it should fire now.
Enemy Drops and Visuals
Tok-Xil enemies now correctly drop items on death as intended. No more empty kills from those guys.
A couple of visual and inventory glitches got squashed too:
- Removed old “Hard Leather” entities that were showing up in Umbral Sands chests.
- Wading into quicksand and then into water no longer shows the Sand VFX.
Cape Restrictions
There’s also a sensible restriction for high-level crafters. Users who can craft the Fire Cape cannot give the cape to unworthy recipients. So you can’t just hand out endgame gear to your lower-level buddies.
It’s a small patch, but it clears up some frustrating inconsistencies.
