SUMMARY: The two-person development team released a new co-op trailer at IGN Fan Fest, their first in 18 months.

The two-person team behind Solarpunk dropped a fresh co-op gameplay trailer at IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2026. It’s their first trailer in about a year and a half.

This one focuses on stuff they haven’t shown much before — co-op moments, shared building, exploring, and just hanging out in the world together. The trailer highlights how you can work alongside friends instead of going it alone.

The devs also took a moment to thank everyone playing the Beta. They’ve collected plenty of feedback and are working it into the game update by update. Solarpunk is still mostly built by two people, so progress isn’t lightning fast, but they’re polishing steadily with each patch. “Your feedback genuinely helps us get it there,” they wrote.

If you’re into cozy games, they also pointed folks toward a cozy games newsletter for more of that vibe.
