The team behind Solarpunk dropped a small but meaningful update on June 29, 2026. Patch 1.0.5-300928 tackles a handful of bugs and performance issues.
Fixes and Improvements
The headline fix here is the Uncrafter duplication glitch — you could previously duplicate cables and sticks using it. That’s gone now. They also improved Recycler performance and attempted to fix an audio issue with furnaces.
For console players, there’s a notable fix: old save games could create multiple “ghost” saves, most prominently on PS5. That’s been resolved.
The patch also addresses a bunch of inventory and UI headaches:
- Items could be shift-clicked without holding the right trigger on gamepad after deselecting a slot — fixed
- Some item slots weren’t movable when the hotbar was full — fixed
- Toggleable backpack view could soft-lock the UI when switching view and closing it — fixed
- Broken input state when closing and immediately reopening animated inventory UIs — fixed
- Auto Feeder UI focus state after a backpack upgrade — fixed
They also allowed more characters for new world names.
“This is only a small update. More fixes and improvements will follow.”
The devs say they’re still working on the game and plan to keep going. For a small patch, it clears up a lot of annoying edge cases.
