Offline Mode and a New Retrieve Ship Option
The June 26, 2026 patch for SpaceCraft (v0.3.22380) brings the promised Offline Mode alongside a fresh batch of balance tweaks. The devs say this is “just the first of several patches to come,” with a focus on easing the late-game grind and making progression bottlenecks clearer.
You’ll find a new Retrieve Ship option at station Shipyards — handy for recalling stranded or inaccessible vessels without a headache.
Big Cuts to Footprint and Permit Costs
The balance changes hit hard on resource costs. The default Base footprint jumps from 50 FP to 60 FP, while Solar Panels drop from 10 FP to just 4 FP. That’s a huge shift for early base building.
Crafting gets cheaper too:
- Small Steel Part Casing now needs 6 Structural Beams (down from 12)
- Small Titanium Part Casing requires 8 Heavy-Duty Beams (down from 12)
- The Cistern crafting cost is reduced
Permit prices take a serious cut:
- Modular Systems III: 25,000 → 18,000 credits
- Better Titanium: 10,000 → 7,000 credits
- Advanced Frames: 50,000 → 30,000 credits
- Very Light Alloys: 50,000 → 30,000 credits
The Wholesale Request tutorial mission now asks for 100 ingots instead of 500. If you already delivered more than 100 on an active contract, they’ll refund the difference.
Bug Fixes and a Quick Note on Drifting
Shipyards can no longer move while an unfinished ship is docked. They also fixed the INVALID LOC state that trapped some players — affected folks may need to respawn to fix it.
A heads-up: an earlier version (v0.3.22375) pushed a few hours before this patch caused some players to drift in space. The devs recommend updating first, then hitting respawn if you’re falling through the ground or stuck at a landing pad.
