A Visual Pass for Your Home Away From Home

The SpaceCraft team dropped patch v0.3.22655 on July 8, 2026, and it’s all about making the places you spend the most time look better. Since the game launched in Early Access, the devs have been sifting through feedback. This patch is the first wave of fixes and visual upgrades they’ve prioritized.

They didn’t touch everything. Instead, they zeroed in on two key spots: your Space Module and your base. The idea is simple — if you’re going to stare at these environments for hours building your intergalactic corporation, they should feel more alive.

What Got the Facelift

The changelog is a mix of new models and smarter rendering. Here’s what they changed:

  • Parallax Occlusion Mapping on details like decals and tiled materials — adds depth without killing performance
  • New scanalyser beta model and micro-furnace model
  • A fresh Factory model and final Pathway Stand model
  • Reworked depleted ores to make them easier to read at a glance
  • New decoration building icons
  • Fresh animations on robot arms in the station shipyard

They also fixed the geyser FX in the encyclopedia and did a bunch of LOD visual fixes and optimizations across the board.

“We want to focus today on the visual improvements recently brought to the game.”

It’s a targeted update. No new systems, no reworks — just polish where it counts. You can track ongoing issues on the Known Issues Hub page.
