The latest StarRupture update is out, and it’s a small but meaningful one. Hotfix 0.2.7 dropped on June 11, 2026, targeting stability and some nagging bugs the team has been tracking during Early Access.

Crash fixes and performance

The big one here is a crash that could hit you while deconstructing buildings. That’s gone now. The patch also tackles a multiplayer issue where dialogues would skip for the client when the host moved too far away. No more missing story beats because someone ran ahead.

Better crash reporting

The devs didn’t just fix crashes — they made them easier to report. The Crash Report Tool now includes an extra response window. It’s designed to help identify what caused the crash and suggest self-troubleshooting steps. Quicker fixes for you, better data for them.

“We are actively working on fixing existing issues along with introducing new content to enrich your gaming experience.”

The team is still combing through feedback and bug reports, and they’re keeping up with both fixes and new features. No hints on what’s coming next, but they’re pointing players to the Support Page for troubleshooting and bug submissions.
