The first Dev Vlog since Subnautica 2 entered Early Access is now live, with Design Lead Anthony Gallegos thanking the community for its support and outlining the next phase of development.

Moving to EA1.1

The team is pivoting away from the frequent, rapid hotfixes released since Early Access launch to focus on the upcoming EA1.1 update. Gallegos notes this update is expected “in a few weeks.”

Community Engagement

Players are encouraged to discuss and speculate about Subnautica 2 on the official Discord server. Feedback and feature requests can also be shared and voted on via Nolt.io, where players can “share ideas and upvote things you’d like to see.”

Subnautica 2 is available now on Steam. This update signals a shift from stability patches to new content, giving players a clearer timeline for what’s next.
