Windrose has released a small update, version 0.10.0.6, addressing several bugs and performance issues reported by players. >This is test of scribe<
Performance and Gameplay Improvements
The patch reduces disk space usage and optimizes disk writes during gameplay. It also delivers slightly improved performance during boarding and when using ship artillery. Action panels for players and ships now execute commands on button press instead of release. Attack and block animation transitions after equipping weapons have been adjusted for smoother, more responsive gameplay.
Bug Fixes and Adjustments
- All player-placed plants now correctly snap to soil patches, and items dropped on player-built soil patches no longer fall through the ground.
- Onion flower visuals have been slightly updated.
- A fix prevents one player from receiving a boss kill achievement when another player kills a different boss simultaneously.
- Running multiple server instances on the same PC is now disabled.
- Old worlds and characters can now be correctly deleted, fixing a known issue from the previous update.
- A rare bug where killing monsters in Stargazer Ruins could count as a Jim Godart kill has been fixed.
- Ship artillery aiming no longer occasionally gets stuck, and ship aiming is fixed when interacting with a battery while blocking.
- The “Unstuck” command remains available while controlling a ship battery.
- A crash when unequipping items from a ship has been resolved.
- Dedicated Server users can now change settings in WorldDescription.json; instructions are in DedicatedServer.md.
This update continues Windrose’s commitment to refining the player experience through targeted bug fixes and performance tweaks.
